Directors Message
I invested in Accura-Tech shortly after the Tsunami in 2004.
My purpose was to give people the dignity of making a living without the need to take charity.
Our business is based on the assumption or at least the hope that its members are highly motivated towards customer service and all the positive attributes that make a business work.
Giving a fair salary to our employees is often a challenge as our economy has been hit hard by the Global situation and this often places us in a position of not being able to pay the best rates to our employees.
The daily worry for an employee is the fearful thoughts of:
- What if we lose a Client?
- What if a deal falls through?
This negativity can be paralyzing!
Sri Lanka is a country that has no welfare state and its employees are often supporting an extended family in their community and the ability to earn bestows added pressure on a breadwinner.
- We aim to give to others rather than receive just for ourselves.
- To continually ask ourselves what can we give back.
By living true to these principles, we will achieve prosperity and remove negativity.
- There is no intention to mislead the reader.
- This is not about us being moral or ethical.
It is also about self interest in the best sense of the term as it frees us and others from the negative energy that can often dominate a business transaction, not what is wrong, but what is missing.
- What is good for us is ultimately good for us all, as it creates circuitry.
- It is not “just business” it’s about creating the opportunities for us all, to give back.
- It is very challenging for us!
We ask our customers to consider tithing 10% of their invoices from us directly to the charities we support
How it works:
We agree on a price, and then you can either use this as a discount for yourself or consider adding the additional amount to your bill.
We do not handle the money. We just simply ask you to pay them directly.
We are committed to being a focal point in our local community by assisting our local causes and charities who have suffered greatly due to dependence on foreign donations.
These Charities would all welcome your support and appreciate a visit if you are in the country; just to know you care.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and we look forward to collaborating and sharing any ideas that you may have.
We will diligently undertake any of your projects, and we enclose our brochure for your consideration.
